Want to hop on the phone with me & pick my brain about anything that's on your mind? (Consultation, not therapy.) I am raffling off a free half-hour chat for 1 listener of my podcast in exchange for a review.
Here's how to enter the raffle:
1. Leave a rating + review on Apple Podcasts by Saturday, September 30. Link below.
2. Screenshot your rating + review.
3. Share this post for wider reach.
4. Screenshot having shared it.
5. Email these screenshots (2 & 4) to hello at sometherapist dot com, along with your contact info, X username if you have one, + what it is you'd like to chat with me about (as long as it's within my scope to discuss as consultation rather than therapy).
6. Bonus points: also leave a rating on Spotify or any other platform! (As far as I'm aware, Apple is the only one that has not just ratings but also reviews.)
I will pick + announce the winner by Monday, October 2, including a screenshot of their review. We will then schedule our phone call at a mutually agreeable time, hopefully within the following week or two if possible.
I understand that sometimes marketing approaches like this can feel a bit skeezy. It's just that I'm faced with constant attacks on my reputation, & lately that's included some inaccurate reviews left by people who've barely listened to my podcast. Podcast reviews are super valuable to me, and the biggest thing of value I have to offer in return is my time. Considering that I receive more requests for my time and attention than I can possibly respond to, I thought this little raffle would be a good win/win.
Thanks in advance for participating!

Thank you for your important work, Stephanie. I have learned a lot from your interviews and am glad to have supported you. But, since you have shifted your focus to your ROGD Parents work, I have decided to end my support here at Locals. Godspeed.
I want to thank each of you for your time here, encouragement, and donations.
You've probably noticed it's pretty quiet around here, without much happening. In contrast, the ROGD Repair Course and Community, for parents of gender-confused youth, has been getting a lot of active engagement. It addresses a powerful need and gives its participants a lot to work with.
So, I've been thinking about migrating the perks of Locals membership over to ROGD Repair and closing this site down after a while. If I do that, it means ROGD Repair members get access to new episodes early, and opportunities to ask questions of future guests.
Please feel free to share your feedback and thoughts on this. I don't expect to see much come in, since it's so quiet here. That, itself, would be feedback for me to consider too.
If you want to join ROGD Repair but haven't yet, and have been a loyal Locals subscriber or otherwise donated, please email [email protected] and I'll make sure you have a coupon ...
