Hey folks,
Big thanks to everyone who has joined in this first couple months of my Locals community! I'm grateful so many people have signed up already to support my work, but I'm noticing there hasn't been a lot of engagement. So, I want to hear from you: what would you like to get out of being here? What perks can I offer? Is there a different way I could present the features of this group?
Please remember that as a member, you can post and comment, and choose whether your posts are public or members-only. In our Discord community, there was more dialogue. I want this to also feel like a place where people can start discussions amongst themselves.
So far I haven't had many "bites" for the members-only livestream Q&A's. I receive a ton of questions by email and DM, so I was hoping people would join here to ask those questions since this is the one place I promise to respond, but it hasn't seemed to carry over yet.
I've also posted who my upcoming guests will be, but not many people have asked questions of upcoming guests, either.
I have a new idea to run by you: would you want transcripts of episodes? I've been asked to provide transcripts a few times in the past, but I'm not sure whether anyone in this group is in that category. The platform I use for recording my podcast now offers transcripts, but I'd have to upgrade my plan to download them easily, so I'd like to test the waters to see if there's a demand for that that would make the effort worthwhile.
Please share your feedback on these or any other ideas. I appreciate that you're here, and I want to keep you around. :)

Thank you for your important work, Stephanie. I have learned a lot from your interviews and am glad to have supported you. But, since you have shifted your focus to your ROGD Parents work, I have decided to end my support here at Locals. Godspeed.
I want to thank each of you for your time here, encouragement, and donations.
You've probably noticed it's pretty quiet around here, without much happening. In contrast, the ROGD Repair Course and Community, for parents of gender-confused youth, has been getting a lot of active engagement. It addresses a powerful need and gives its participants a lot to work with.
So, I've been thinking about migrating the perks of Locals membership over to ROGD Repair and closing this site down after a while. If I do that, it means ROGD Repair members get access to new episodes early, and opportunities to ask questions of future guests.
Please feel free to share your feedback and thoughts on this. I don't expect to see much come in, since it's so quiet here. That, itself, would be feedback for me to consider too.
If you want to join ROGD Repair but haven't yet, and have been a loyal Locals subscriber or otherwise donated, please email [email protected] and I'll make sure you have a coupon ...
