In the torrent of misinformation and disinformation out there, a few concerned parents and MD's have created a documentary on the ethics of medicalized gender transition, citing 45 academic articles and examining the harm done to vulnerable gender-atypical youth.
Watch our film, Affirmation Generation [4], then bring your thoughts, feelings and questions to our free webinar with detransitioners and experts. Our format will be "ask me anything" on the subject of detransitioning and the medical harm of the current one-size-fits-all "gender-affirming care."
A local Portland group, RadFemPDX, has kindly offered to help organize this webinar. Several members of RadFemPDX attended our local Detrans Awareness Day event in March, where we screened Affirmation Generation [5] and then held a discussion panel featuring me, detransitioner Camille Kiefel, pediatrician Julia Mason, and fellow therapist Alise Weaver. We live-streamed that event to my YouTube channel; you can watch that panel here [6]. Now, we’re re-creating a similar event that you can attend online, free of charge, from anywhere.

You've probably noticed it's pretty quiet around here, without much happening. In contrast, the ROGD Repair Course and Community, for parents of gender-confused youth, has been getting a lot of active engagement. It addresses a powerful need and gives its participants a lot to work with.
So, I've been thinking about migrating the perks of Locals membership over to ROGD Repair and closing this site down after a while. If I do that, it means ROGD Repair members get access to new episodes early, and opportunities to ask questions of future guests.
