First exclusive Q&A livestream! Your questions answered.

It's my first members-only Q&A livestream! I will be answering these excellent, thought provoking questions. Thank you @ChristoB for helping get this going!

-What are the most useful conceptual frameworks that you've seen that help liberals and conservatives find common ground?

-Stepping way back, where is the psychotherapy profession in terms of its evolution, are we currently in crisis, and where is the profession headed? What are the most exciting new dimensions to therapy that you see emerging? Examples might be psychadelics, neurofeedback, somatic work, or, god forbid, AI therapy...

-From the perspective of mental health or medical practitioners, I feel like we need have at our disposal a really strong research base that demonstrates the recent rates of de-transitioning, the side effects of cross-sex hormones and surgeries, and the ways that trauma, complex mental health challenges, experiences such as ADHD and autism, and social identity formation challenges relate to the adoption of transgender identities. What are the key studies, or who are the key researchers, who are addressing the above themes? (related, if any of you are interested in forming a small group that is more research focused, I'd love to connect. If we are going to go against the so-called "standards of care", it just seems like we really need to have a clear foundation and "evidence base".)

Thank you for your important work, Stephanie. I have learned a lot from your interviews and am glad to have supported you. But, since you have shifted your focus to your ROGD Parents work, I have decided to end my support here at Locals. Godspeed.

Should I migrate the perks of Locals to ROGD Repair?

I want to thank each of you for your time here, encouragement, and donations.

You've probably noticed it's pretty quiet around here, without much happening. In contrast, the ROGD Repair Course and Community, for parents of gender-confused youth, has been getting a lot of active engagement. It addresses a powerful need and gives its participants a lot to work with.

So, I've been thinking about migrating the perks of Locals membership over to ROGD Repair and closing this site down after a while. If I do that, it means ROGD Repair members get access to new episodes early, and opportunities to ask questions of future guests.

Please feel free to share your feedback and thoughts on this. I don't expect to see much come in, since it's so quiet here. That, itself, would be feedback for me to consider too.

If you want to join ROGD Repair but haven't yet, and have been a loyal Locals subscriber or otherwise donated, please email [email protected] and I'll make sure you have a coupon ...
