I am in touch with someone within the attorney general's office in Montana who is looking for witnesses to testify regarding proposed legislation pertaining to legal sex identities.
I have offered to testify regarding the rate of detransition being higher than estimated, & the psychological impact on detransitioners of having to change their sex back on legal documents.
If you have gone through this struggle & would be willing to testify, compensation for your time is available.
Additional expert testimonies would be valuable with regard to the other negative impacts of (a) sex change on birth certificates being legal at all, (b) what happens when the barriers to doing so are further lowered, & (c) other impacts of self-ID, such as on criminality, criminal records erasure/complication, medical data, & incarcerated women.

You've probably noticed it's pretty quiet around here, without much happening. In contrast, the ROGD Repair Course and Community, for parents of gender-confused youth, has been getting a lot of active engagement. It addresses a powerful need and gives its participants a lot to work with.
So, I've been thinking about migrating the perks of Locals membership over to ROGD Repair and closing this site down after a while. If I do that, it means ROGD Repair members get access to new episodes early, and opportunities to ask questions of future guests.
Please feel free to share your feedback and thoughts on this. I don't expect to see much come in, since it's so quiet here. That, itself, would be feedback for me to consider too.
